Questions we hear often
If your question is not listed here, include it in the form above and we will reply personally.
Most clients work with us for between six and ten sessions, spread over three to five months. The leadership clarity programme runs six sessions; transition coaching is eight sessions; board readiness is ten. We agree the number before we begin, and you can extend if both sides see value in continuing.
Yes. About two-thirds of our clients work with us entirely by video call. We use a secure platform with end-to-end encryption. In-person sessions are available at our Bergstromworth office, and we can also meet at your workplace if you are based in Wales or the south-west of England.
Each session is 90 minutes. You set the agenda at the start: it might be a decision you are wrestling with, a relationship that is not working, or a pattern you want to break. We ask questions, challenge assumptions, and help you build a plan you can act on before the next session. There is no lecturing and no slides.
Completely. We do not share session content with your employer, your board, or anyone else unless you explicitly ask us to. When a company sponsors the coaching, we agree a reporting framework in advance that covers themes and progress without disclosing specifics.
We invoice the sponsoring organisation directly and can provide a purchase order reference if needed. The coaching agreement is still between us and you as the coachee. We hold a three-way meeting at the start to align on goals and at the end to review outcomes, but session content stays between us.
What happens after you get in touch
Once your message arrives, here is the sequence we follow. Nothing is automated; a real person reads every enquiry.
- We reply by email within one working day to acknowledge your message and suggest two or three times for a call.
- We hold a 45-minute chemistry call at no charge. This is a genuine conversation, not a sales pitch. We want to understand your situation and you want to know whether our style suits you.
- If we both want to proceed, we send a short proposal: programme, number of sessions, fee, and start date.
- You sign the coaching agreement and we schedule your first session, usually within two weeks of the chemistry call.
If at any point you decide coaching is not what you need, we will tell you honestly and, where we can, recommend an alternative: a mentor, a training course, or a different coach whose specialism fits better. We would rather lose a potential client than take on work where we cannot add real value.
